Bear Zuni Fetish Carving
Creative Zuni carver who uses elk antlers to form beautiful standing bears and maidens of various sizes. He adorns the bears, frogs and maidens with turquoise, coral, lapis and penshell. Gabe has been carving since he was in high school. Gabe just placed second in the Representational Stone Sculpture Division in the 2013 Santa Fe Indian Market. Gabe placed 2nd in the Traditional Pueblo Fetishes category at SWAI Santa Fe Indian Market in 2018. Gabe’s brother is noted as Zuni Carry Troy Sice.
