*Overview description* – A classic example of a Woodlands {esp. Ojibwe ~ Chippewa} Native American style bandolier bag featuring beadwork as an accent. The bag measures approximately 38 inches x 15 inches overall. The bag features a style of beadwork commonly known as embroidery beadwork with yarn accents. The bag is entirely beaded on one side. The beadwork pattern is a classic Woodlands nation vine floral design. The entire inner liner for the bag is a typical (for the period) calico fabric. Accenting the beadwork at the bottom of the bag are 30 traditional style yarn accents hanging from the bag. The overall construction and the beadwork accent for this bandolier bag is excellent quality, classically veined, and is certainly antique. There are several areas of very minimal damage to the beadwork which is typical and expected for a piece this age. The damaged areas will in no way affect the performance value for this bandolier bag.

CONDITION:  Excellent
