A limited-edition stone lithograph with fresh colors showing a view of a small harbor in Brittany with fishing boats moored beneath cloudless skies.

Signed lower right, ‘Charon’ for Guy Charon (French, born 1927) and with number and limitation, ‘229/275’, lower left. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authentication from the Societe de Verification de la Nouvelle Gravure Internationale retaining collector’s blind stamp.

This noted painter and lithographer has exhibited widely and with success from 1954, including at the Salon d’Automne, Salon de la Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Salon des Independants, and the Ecole de Paris. Charon’s work is held internationally in private and public collections, including the permanent collections of the Bibliotheque Nationale and the Musee d’Art Moderne de la Ville in Paris.
