“The Imperial Maiden” by Lena Liu
Hand-painted porcelain doll is part of the “Enchanted Maidens” collection. The “Enchanted Maidens” were a set of four porcelain dolls designed by artist Lena Liu and produced by the Danbury Mint. They are no longer manufactured. She wears a beautiful kimono of cream, pink, and lavender fabric. Her kimono is edged with red and gold braid. Her obi is gold and green and is embellished with a string of faux pearls. She wears a headdress of porcelain flowers and faux pearls. The Imperial Maiden comes with a parasol and shawl. She stands approximately 19 inches tall with her wooden display stand (included).
